Salutations Everyone!

On Thursday, May 31st, 2018, The Strong Hinkson Organization had the honor of presenting their Lasalle High Hinkson Legacy Bursary (LHHL Bursary) to a deserving student at Beurling Academy’s 2018 convocation. The bursary was presented to Carter Griffiths by Sabi Hinkson (CEO and Founder of The SHO) and her eldest daughter, who graduated from Beurling Academy in 2017, Kiara Hinkson-Belone…

The LaSalle High Hinkson Legacy Bursary is awarded to a graduating student, from Beurling Academy, who will be pursuing collegiate studies during the Fall. Most importantly, this student comes from a single-parent home, perseveres, and sees the value in caring for others within their community. Normally, this bursary is $250 but thanks to two Riverside Park Academy alumni, who donated towards this bursary (Amandy Moey and Felicia Heinz), we were able to increase this bursary to $350.

The Beurling Academy staff and administration chose a student to receive our bursary based on our criteria, and from what we’ve heard, this young man is an awesome individual, and we are honored to have him as the first recipient of The LHHL Bursary.

Thank you so much to everyone who has made donations to The SHO, without you, things like this would not be possible!
